The Town of Jupiter covers a 22-square-mile area and is home to 49,385 who live in the area extending from the Atlantic Ocean, west beyond Interstate 95 and Florida's Turnpike. The town's earliest known records of the Jupiter Inlet date to 1565. In the 1800s the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse was built.

Jupiter is home to the Florida Marlins and for the St. Louis Cardinals spring training facility, as well as home to Florida Atlantic University's MacArthur Campus. The Scripps Research Institute is in the process of developing a state-of-the-art biomedical research sister facility in the area.

Jupiter has many amenities such as the Maltz Theatre, formerly called the Burt Reynolds Theater. It is also in close proximity to the Palm Beach International Airport and the famous shops and dining pleasures of CityPlace, Worth Avenue and Clematis Street and to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
